For the closing of the exhibition Matter. Non-Matter. Anti-Matter at ZKM | Karlsruhe, we have put together a rich program of workshops, guided tours, lectures, and performances that reflect on the research questions raised by the project and present a broad spectrum of thematic connections.

PORe Workshop: Imagined Monuments

We welcome you at 2pm in the atrium 1+2 on the 2nd floor of ZKM | Karlsruhe for a workshop PORe Workshop: Imagined Monuments organized in cooperation with Aalto University in the context of the exhibition Matter. Non-Matter. Anti-Matter.

The language of the workshop and instruction is English with German translators providing help to the participants if needed. 

The workshop is free of charge.

Curatorial tour

In the atrium 1+2 on the 2nd floor of ZKM | Karlsruhe, join us for two curatorial tours that will explore the exhibition Matter. Non-Matter. Anti-Matter. The tours will be held in English at 2pm and German at 3pm and are free of charge.

Lecture

From 4pm onwards, the finissage will continue in the media theater of the ZKM | Karlsruhe with a series of lectures by Prof. Dr. Stephan Schwingeler (HAWK Hildesheim), Prof. Dr. Torben Ferber (KIT – Karlsruher Institute of Technology), Jeremy Bailey, and the Bio Design Lab (HfG Karlsruhe).

Running lecture

For the closing of the exhibition, running lectures by Prof. Dr. Stephan Schwingeler, Prof. Dr. Torben Ferber, and the Bio Design Lab will take place in the exhibition space in the atrium 1+2, 2nd floor of ZKM | Karlsruhe from 11 am onwards.

Online guided tour on the digital Platform of Beyond Matter

Get a 60-minute overview of the Beyond Matter online platform and experience how past exhibitions can come to life anew digitally. The tours will be held in German at 6pm and English at 7pm and are free of charge.
